And then I poured out the object inside. It was a piece of paper rolled up. I unrolled the piece of paper. I was amazed with what I saw. It was a map. It was a detailed map of an island. At the top of the map it said, "The Lost City of Gold." I couldn't believe what I had found. I then started thinking about how old this map was. The paper was a material I had never seen before. Old, stiff paper, it looked like it was around 100 years old. I rolled up the map and put it back in the bottle. I ran back home as quickly as possible. I showed it to my Grandpa who was visiting from New York. He knew a lot about historical stuff so I decided to show the map to him. He was amazed as I was when he saw the map. I asked him it was real and he replied with, "I have heard a story of the lost city of gold but I have always thought it was a myth."
He said it was if he was confused what to think about the map. As if he was actually thinking this was a real map that led somewhere. My Grandpa got on his computer and started searching for pictures of the map. He came back about and hour later with a sad look on his face.
He said, "Sadly the map is not rare, I found many copies of the map on the internet."
I told him, "It's okay, it will be a cool things to have around."
"That it will be," said my Grandpa.
